Ultreya Definition "Ultreya" is a Spanish word, derived originally Latin, meaning Onward! It was in common use by pilgrims to greet and to encourage one another along the way. This word is now used by the Cursillo community to signify the meeting which is held after a Cursillo experience.
The Ultreya is a reunion of all the small group reunions which includes a time for small group sharing, a witness, and prayer and praise time. Ultreyas usually last for one hour except for the Ultreya held after a Cursillo Weekend. At this Ultreya, the new Cursillistas are welcomed into the Cursillo community and they give a short witness on their experience of the Weekend and how their Fourth day is going.
The Ultreya is a place where everyone is welcome and friendships are built. THE ULTREYA FORMAT
